About

@repeat1968 is John Buss. An occasional artist, he decided to Resist Through Art when Trump became president. Focusing on editorial cartoons, he has produced hundreds of pieces that have been amplified by Occupy Democrats, Democratic Coalition, Raw Story, Daily Kos, The Daily Beast, Political Charge, and Mad Dog PAC. He has been included in lists of the Nation’s Top Political Cartoonists. He proudly proclaims to be The Un-syndicated Left Can’t Meme Artist.

@repeat1968 came into existence during Donald J. Trump’s 2016 presidential campaign. The parallels between George Wallace’s 1968 third party run for president and Trump’s was uncanny. The obvious difference was Wallace lost. With Trump’s ascension, the country seems to be in a time loop repeating 1968 for the last four years.

Follow @repeat1968 on Twitter and/or Instagram to experience the somewhat twisted humor and no hold barred editorial art geared to help end this failed experiment of electing a third rate Reality TV president with a chuckle.
